This delightful little dish was created from olive porcelain in the shape of the blossom of the flowering quince, one of the characteristic flowers of the Japanese spring.

About Maker

Studied pottery from Mitio Kobayashi & Yuko in Kasama, Ibaraki 2004 and started her own kiln in Kasama in 2006. To fit the modern testes, she creates her own designs (shapes and the colors) referring from the old dishes and the plates. And also they are very thin and strong so can withstand the stress of daily use.
